Tennessee men’s golfer Caleb Surratt has been named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year.
Surratt also earned First Team All-Southeastern Conference honors and was named to the conference’s all-freshman team.
He is the fourth Tennessee student-athlete to be named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year, and the first since David Skinns in 2002.
Surratt earned low medalist honors at the 2023 Southeastern Conference Tournament, wining an individual championship, one of two individual titles he won this season.
He recorded six top-10 finishes and tied a single-season record with 25 rounds at par or better this season.
Surratt leads the Vols with a 69.33 scoring average.
