Caitlin Clark’s WNBA career scoring night prompted LeBron James to call out her alleged haters

LeBron James called out Caitlin Clark’s alleged “haters” after her career night against the Sky.

Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark scored a career-high 31 points against the Chicago Sky on the road on Friday night.

Clark also found a way to record the league’s first-ever stat line of 30-plus points, 12 assists and five 3-pointers, further adding to her incredible performance. She also leads all WNBA guards in double-doubles with 11.

It feels safe to assume at this point that Clark is going to be this year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year, even if she downplayed how much that actually matters to her before the game.

Well, NBA superstar LeBron James chimed in on social media after Clark’s fantastic performance against the Sky, tweeting “HI HATERS” in reference to his May defense of Clark against alleged “haters” in the sports world.

There was never much tangible proof that Clark had a chorus of jeers against her as she entered the WNBA, and she’s risen in popularity more and more as the season has gone on and her play has skyrocketed.

It’s not to say she doesn’t have her detractors, all famous athletes do, but the whole “haters” argument always felt just a little flimsy.

None the matter, James counts himself as a big Clark fan and knew exactly how he wanted to support her after her banner night in Chicago.
