Caitlin Clark is tied at the top.

After reeling in her 23rd career Big Ten Player of the Week honor, Clark joins former Hawkeye great Megan Gustafson with the most honors all-time. It’s already the fifth time Clark has been recognized as the Big Ten Player of the Week this season and the third in a row.

Clark registered her 13th career triple-double in Iowa’s 98-69 win over Loyola Chicago on Dec. 21. The 6-foot senior guard poured in 35 points, tallied a career-high 17 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in Iowa’s win over the Ramblers.

Then, on Dec. 30, Clark authored all sorts of history. With her 35 points in the 94-71 win over Minnesota, Clark jumped into fifth place on the all-time women’s college basketball scoring charts. She leapfrogged Drake great Lorri Bauman and Mississippi Valley State standout Patricia Hoskins.

At the time of publication, Clark has recorded 3,149 career points and trails Baylor’s Brittney Griner by 134 points for No. 4 on the all-time scoring ranks.

Meanwhile, Clark also overtook Hawkeye legend Sam Logic for No. 1 on Iowa’s all-time assists list with a second-quarter helper to redshirt junior guard Kylie Feuerbach. Then, she went ahead and passed Ohio State great Samantha Prahalis for the Big Ten’s all-time assists record.

Clark finished with 10 assists and five rebounds against the Golden Gophers and her eight made 3-pointers were one off her career-best.

Thus far this season, Clark is averaging 30.9 points, 7.6 assists, 7.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. She is shooting a career-best 49.5% from the floor and 40.2% from 3-point range.
