Caitlin Clark sets WNBA history with another triple-double

It is Caitlin Clark’s league!

Many thought Caitlin Clark would be good in the WNBA. Some thought she was going to be great. But a common trend was believing it may take some time.

I am not sure if anyone thought things would blossom this quickly for Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. What is happening with them is otherworldly and Caitlin Clark is keeping her foot on the gas pedal.

Clark recorded her second triple-double last night in the Fever’s 93-86 win over the Los Angeles Sparks to move to 18-16 on the year and add more fuel to the scorching hot fire of momentum behind them.

She posted a line of 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Clark was helped by Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell’s big nights as well. Boston had 24 points and 14 rebounds while Mitchel had 18 points and 4 rebounds.

Clark previously became the only rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double earlier this year and now has two to her name already.

What makes this triple-double even more special is that it comes on the heels of the Indiana Fever clinching their first playoff spot in eight years. They could have celebrated and loosened the reigns a little bit.

Instead, Clark and Co. dug even deeper and put a bow on their playoff spot and now have the entire WNBA on notice as the playoffs approach.
