Caitlin Clark named 2024 All-Star with most votes in the WNBA

Caitlin Clark is a 2024 WNBA All-Star.

The list is already extremely long. Iowa Hawkeyes legend, All-Big Ten, All-American, Player of the Year, No. 1 overall draft pick, and so on.

Caitlin Clark can now add WNBA All-Star to her lengthy list of accomplishments. It was announced today that Clark has made the All-Star team in her rookie season that is off to a blistering start.

Through just 21 games in her WNBA career, Clark has already broken single-season Indiana Fever rookie records, has the Fever back in the playoff hunt after a couple of downtrodden seasons, and is showing the league this is a much-improved team.

Caitlin Clark is averaging 16 points, 7.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. She has posted four double-doubles and has flirted with a triple-double a handful of times, which appears will happen in just a matter of time.

Not only was Caitlin Clark named to the WNBA All-Star team, but she was the most-voted athlete in the entire league. Clark received over 700,000 votes, the only player in the WNBA to get that many votes.

The WNBA All-Star game is et for July 20th in Phoenix. It will be a unique mashup unlike other leagues do for their all-star games. The WNBA All-Stars will compete against the USA Women’s Basketball National Team in what will be an additional layer of intrigue after Clark was snubbed from the national squad.
