Iowa made history last night at the Final Four, bouncing previously unbeaten and defending national champion South Carolina, 77-73, from inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
Understandably, it put a charge into Hawkeye Nation like perhaps never before. Some of the world’s biggest sports stars shared their awe at what Caitlin Clark is doing.
She was magical last night. Clark dropped 41 points to register the most points in a women’s NCAA Tournament semifinal game and to become the first women’s basketball player to piece back-to-back 40-point tourney games together.
