Caitlin Clark isn’t taking Iowa fans — along with her stardom — for granted.

After nailing a game-winning buzzer beater from the logo (and, yes, before you say she didn’t get it off in time, videos and photos show that she did), Clark spoke with NBC and expressed her gratitude.

“I’m just really thankful,” she said after reflecting on playing in front of young women who admire her and the team. “I’m trying to soak in every single second because … it’s really surreal. It kind of brings a little tear to my eye and I’m just grateful that I get to play in such a place that really loves women’s basketball.”
