Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and Phoenix Mercury superstar Diana Taurasi had no animus with each other before their anticipated first game against each other on Sunday.

On the contrary, Clark and Taurasi shared a quick hug and greeting before the game, showing the respect that they have for each other.

While Taurasi hasn’t been shy in discussing Clark’s career so far, the latter praised the former’s excellent WNBA career on Saturday ahead of their matchup.

We’re sure Taurasi and Clark wanted to play their absolute best against each other, but it’s nice to see the two WNBA stars show each other some love before what was sure to be a contested game between the two teams.
