Byron Murphy, Marco Wilson, Chase Edmonds active for Cardinals vs. Browns

The Cardinals get their starting cornerbacks back for their game against the Browns.

The Arizona Cardinals have had plenty of bad news with player availability for their Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. With the release of their inactive list for Week 6, there is finally some good news.

They will have both their starting cornerbacks back in the lineup. Byron Murphy and Marco Wilson, both of whom missed last week’s win over the San Francisco 49ers with rib injuries and were officially questionable for the game today, are active and will be in the starting lineup.

Also active is running back Chase Edmonds, who was also questionable with a shoulder injury. So is linebacker Jordan Hicks, who was questionable with a toe injury.

These are their inactive players today’s game:

  • QB Chris Streveler
  • RB Eno Benjamin
  • WR Andy Isabella
  • TE Zach Ertz
  • LB Tanner Vallejo

Ertz is not eligible to play because he played Thursday night for the Eagles before he was traded. Vallejo was ruled out with a hand injury.

Benjamin and Isabella are inactive after getting to play last week against the 49ers. They were gunners on the punt team, but since cornerback Antonio Hamilton will not have to play on defense, he will slide back into his role on special teams. Linebacker Dennis Gardeck presumably will be the other gunner as he was two weeks ago.
