Bulls-Raptors game postponed due to health and safety protocols

The Raptors currently have eight players in protocols.

The NBA now has its ninth postponement of the season.

Wednesday’s matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors has been postponed, first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The postponement comes due to the Raptors not having the league-required eight eligible players as OG Anunoby entered the league’s protocol on Wednesday morning.

Reported by Marc Stein on Wednesday morning, the Raptors were anticipating the arrival of their hardship signees from the G League, but those players had to immediately enter the league’s protocol, which left Wednesday’s contest up in the air.

The Bulls next game will be the day after Christmas against the Indiana Pacers.
