The Chicago Bulls are making a change at the top spot on their bench as they have fired coach Jim Boylen. With that, it means that they are now beginning a coaching search to try and help turn around the fortunes of the franchise.

One guy who has continued to pop up is Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Ime Udoka. The Bulls have made it known in the past that Udoka is one of the guys on their list, but The Athletic and The Stadium’s Shams Charania confirmed that he is still near the top of the list.

He joins Kenny Atkinson, Stephen Silas, David Vanterpool, Darvin Ham, and Wes Unseld Jr. as possible Bulls coach candidates.

Udoka was first an assistant under Gregg Popovich with the San Antonio Spurs for seven seasons before joining Brett Brown’s staff in Philadelphia. He runs the defensive side of things for the Sixers and he is known for helping the younger players develop. [lawrence-related id=36799,36793,36796]
