Bulls’ Patrick Williams still struggling with first Chicago winter

Williams’ first winter in Chicago has been an enlightening experience, to say the least, for the fourth overall pick.

Prior to getting drafted by the Chicago Bulls, Patrick Williams had never been to the Windy City before. Needless to say, his first winter in Chicago has been an enlightening experience, to say the least, for the fourth overall pick.

When Williams first joined the Bulls, he was forced to immediately go out and buy several winter coats. With temperatures in the 20s this week, and six inches of snow on the ground in some areas, Williams is putting his new wardrobe to work.

On Tuesday, Bulls guard Zach LaVine captured Williams on video attempting to remove snow from his car. LaVine hilariously offered him $5 to clean off his car, but the rookie wasn’t going for it.

On the season, Williams is averaging 9.4 points, four rebounds and one assist in 16 games. He has had a bit of an up and down campaign to this point but has been a strong defender and has emerged as a strong two-way player given his ability on both ends of the floor.

While Williams struggled with the snow, several users on social media hilariously pointed out that he should be using the brush, not the ice scraper, to remove the snow from his car. Suffice to say, Williams is still learning on and off the court this season in Chicago.
