Bulls fall to No. 23 in ESPN’s NBA Power Rankings for Week 14

Chicago moves down one spot in this week’s ESPN NBA Power Ranking.

The Chicago Bulls currently sit at 20-24 as the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference following an impressive 132-118 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night.

ESPN’s NBA experts update their NBA Power Rankings every week, which landed the Bulls at No. 23 for Week 14, falling one spot from last week’s ranking.

Jamal Collier explains:

DeMar DeRozan, who missed the last three games with a right quad strain, said he plans to play during the Bulls’ lone game this week in Paris on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons. Chicago went 1-2 without their leading scorer, who is putting up another season worthy of All-Star consideration, averaging 26-5-5 on 51% shooting.

The Bulls have a decision to make here in a few weeks as the trade deadline rapidly approaches. It sounds as if the team will stand pat in attempt to fight for playoff position, but that may not necessarily be the best long term option.
