Due to violating team rules, the Colorado Buffaloes have dismissed defensive lineman Janaz Jordan from the program. The media was informed of the decision on Wednesday, just nine days from the season opener.
Jordan received his undergraduate degree over the summer and was set to begin his sixth-year senior season (fourth with the Buffs). After starting all but one game in 2020, he was demoted to a backup role last season and tallied only four tackles. He also missed the final two games with an injury.
The Buffs will now likely rely more on freshmen Aaron Austin, Tyas Martin and possibly Ryan Williams at tackle.
