Buffaloes offer 2026 offensive lineman Desmond Green

Colorado is trying to bolster its offensive line of the future

Offensive line coach Phil Loadholt and the Colorado Buffaloes like their linemen big, and it doesn’t get much bigger than a 6-foot-4, 325-pound high school junior. Those are the measurables for class of 2026 interior OL Desmond Green, who announced a scholarship offer from the Buffs on Friday.

Entering his junior year, Green already holds offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Clemson Tigers, Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs, among others. The Saint Stephen, South Carolina prospect is pegged as a three-star by the 247Sports composite and a top-10 player in the state. With that offer list, I would not be surprised to see his rankings improve as he moves through his final two years at Timberland High School.

Watching his high school highlights, you can see the power already in his game, as he easily outmatches opposing defenders in the run game. I will be watching to see how his footwork and agility improve in the coming years.
