Pro Football Focus has been running a series ranking the top 32 players at each position entering the 2021 season. One of the latest is ranking the top 32 safeties, where Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker makes the cut.
However, he comes in only 16th in these rankings, which seems absurd, considering he has been recognized by writers and peers as one of the very best at his position.
He isn’t happy with PFF tweeted about it.
I don’t even want Pff mentioning my name anymore honestly. Site been a hater since college lol.

“I don’t even want Pff mentioning my name anymore honestly,” he tweeted. “Site been a hater since college lol.”
Baker racks up tackles and impact plays, but does not always put up big analytic numbers. He only has two career interceptions.
Cardinals fans know the type of player he is. The NFL knows the type of player he is.
He is fearless, is a hitter and sure tackler.
We believe the ranking is disrespectful. Apparently, he does, too.
