Bucs WR Russell Gage leaves practice with apparent injury

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Gage left Wednesday’s joint practice with the Miami Dolphins

The hits just keep coming for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as another key player left practice Wednesday with an apparent injury.

Wide receiver Russell Gage appeared to injure his leg or ankle during Wednesday’s joint practice with the Miami Dolphins, per multiple reports.

Gage signed a three-year deal with the Bucs in free agency this offseason, and is expected to be a key contributor in Tampa Bay’s high-powered passing offense.

The Bucs are already without two of their Pro Bowlers on offense at the moment, as Mike Evans is already sitting out with a minor hamstring injury, while center Ryan Jensen suffered a serious knee injury on the second day of training camp.
