Following up on this…it’s a calf injury for Mike Evans. Sounds relatively minor. But that’s why it was taped today.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were already banged up heading into the 2022 regular season, and Sunday’s Week 1 victory over the Dallas Cowboys came with a few more bumps and bruises.
In addition to injuries suffered by Chris Godwin and Donovan Smith, Mike Evans is also dealing with a calf issue, per ESPN’s Jenna Laine.
Evans had his lower leg wrapped during the portion of practice open to the media, and was conspicuously absent from the Bucs’ final drive of the first half Sunday night, though he returned in the second half.
The injury is “relatively minor,” according to Laine, which should bode well for Evans’ availability for Sunday’s road game against the New Orleans Saints.
