One member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is getting healthier, but the statuses of multiple other players are in question as the Bucs get prepared to take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Cornerback Carlton Davis, who missed Tampa Bay’s last two matchups due to a toe injury, fully participated in practice. Linebacker Devin White was a limited participant with a foot injury, but everyone else on the list — which includes starters in CB Jamel Dean and defensive lineman Vita Vea — did not participate. With five players totally out of practice, the Bucs could be quite banged up heading into New Orleans.
Here is Thursday’s full injury report:
New Orleans is also hurt, too, however. On its injury list, only tight end Foster Moreau was a limited participant, with all other players — including quarterback Derek Carr — not participating. Should all these injuries hold, Sunday’s action could be brutal for both squads.
