Bucs Report Card: How we graded Tampa Bay’s win over Atlanta in Week 14

The Bucs scored the second-most points they have all year and beat an NFC South opponent to take first place in the division — despite all that, there were still plenty of problems with their win against Atlanta.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won their game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14 and took first place in the NFC South with the second-most points they’ve scored in a football game all year. That sounds good, right?

The truth is a bit more complicated. It was an overall rough day for the Buccaneers, as they gave up numerous yards on defense and struggled to move the ball for the majority of the game. They won despite all that (with some help from the Falcons), but they didn’t seem to be firing on any of their cylinders at the same time for the majority of the performance and will likely need to be better going forward to stay atop the divisional mountain.
