Bucs players give team low grades on travel, family treatment

See how the Bucs fared in various areas of supporting their players in the NFLPA’s first-ever report card

The NFL Players Association surveyed 1300 players and assembled Team Report Cards for all 32 NFL teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What the Bucs ultimately scored may come as a surprise.

According to NFLPA president JC Tretter, the Report Cards represent an effort provide players, free agents in particular, more information on elements of an NFL team that affect their performance and day-to-day interactions with the club, such as family considerations, strength and training staff, facilities and travel arrangements.

The Bucs, to put it mildly, did not score well. They earned a D+ grade and ranked 24th among all NFL teams. Notably, 79% of players expressed doubt that team owners, the Glazer family, are willing to invest in facility upgrades.
