The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a few bright spots in Saturday night’s 20-7 preseason road loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and one of them was a pass rush that logged five sacks, tying a franchise record for a single preseason game.
Leading the charge was second-year outside linebacker Jose Ramirez, who accounted for three of those sacks, grabbing a hat trick for himself.
After spending his rookie season on the Bucs’ practice squad, Ramirez has been impressing throughout training camp and the preseason, making it clear he wants to earn a spot on the active roster this time around.
