Bucs more likely to repeat as division champs than the Cowboys?

Rich Eisen’s crew breaks down why the Bucs are more likely to hang another division banner this year than the Cowboys

Despite a long list of national outlets that projected them to fall back down into the NFL basement last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went about their normal business and won the NFC South for the third year in a row.

After an offseason marked by keeping all of their most important free agents and filling areas of need on both sides of the ball with veteran free agents and rookie draft picks, the Bucs are primed to run it back again this season and hang another division title banner.

The crew on “The Rich Eisen Show” even went so far as to say that the Bucs are more likely to repeat as division champs this year than the Dallas Cowboys:

It’s hard to argue with that assessment, especially considering the NFC East tends to be a tougher division from top to bottom than the NFC South has been in recent years.

But the Bucs also look like a team that is built to continue exceeding expectations, while the Cowboys continue to fall short of theirs.
