The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were thrilled when they landed Pittsburgh defensive lineman Calijah Kancey with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Undersized but explosive, Kancey was exactly the kind of disruptive presence the Bucs needed along the interior of their defensive line, and his skill set was a perfect fit alongside Vita Vea.
Kancey flashed his impressive pass-rushing ability throughout his rookie season, and he’s primed for a breakout campaign in 2024, now that he’s got a year of pro experience under his belt.
One of his best weapons is a particular pass-rushing move, and NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger breaks it down in great detail here:

Don’t be surprised if Kancey establishes himself as one of the NFL’s most dominant interior pass rushers this year.
