The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have wrapped up an interview with yet another potential candidate for their open offensive coordinator position.
Dave Canales, the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks, interviewed with the Bucs on Tuesday, the team confirmed via social media.
Canales obviously had great success in 2022 with the resurrection of Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, whose impressive campaign earned him NFL Comeback Player of the Year honors.
He’s the 10th different candidate to interview for Byron Leftwich’s old job, and the Bucs have a second interview scheduled for Wednesday with Los Angeles Rams assistant head coach/tight ends coach Thomas Brown.
