Thanks to yet another double-digit, fourth-quarter comeback, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are headed back to the postseason.
After trailing 21-10 early in the fourth quarter Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, the Bucs scored 20 points in the final period on their way to a 30-24 victory.
With the win, the Bucs clinched their second straight NFC South championship, giving them back-to-back division titles for the first time in franchise history.
It also sends Tampa Bay to the playoffs for the third year in a row, something they’ve only ever done once in team history. Two decades ago, the Bucs made four straight trips to the postseason, a run that culminated in their first-ever Super Bowl victory.
It’s been a rocky year for Tom Brady and company, but despite all of the challenges and adversity, they’re heading back to the playoffs as division champs yet again.
