Bucky Irving has arrived after dominant performance against Panthers

Now 13 weeks into the 2024 NFL season, Bucky Irving has not only arrived for the offense but is gearing up to be the future of the team.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers boldly chose to draft a running back following a season where Rachaad White had over 1,000 total yards. The former Sun Devil appeared to be setup for longterm success with the team but the arrival of Bucky Irving put that up in the air.

Now, 13 weeks into the 2024 NFL season, Bucky Irving has not only arrived for the offense but is gearing up to be the team’s future.

There was a point in the year where Irving wouldn’t even eclipse ten touches within a game, but in back-to-back weeks, he has shown he can handle a larger workload. A career day against the Panthers paired with a strong Week 12 performance against the Giants has Irving as the future of their offense.

In those last two games, he has 337 total yards offensively and two touchdowns. He is now at 1,017 total yards on the year and is a big-time reason this Bucs offense is among the best in the NFL despite Chris Godwin’s absence.

Next up is the Las Vegas Raiders, who are giving up 4.3 yards per carry, so he is in line for another strong performance on Sunday.
