Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer credits Sixers for adding James Harden

Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer gives credit to the Philadelphia 76ers for adding James Harden.

MILWAUKEE, WI–As the Philadelphia 76ers head into the All-Star break after they knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday on the road, their attention now turns to adding James Harden into the fold.

The Sixers acquired the superstar guard in a deadline-day trade with the Brooklyn Nets and he is set to make his debut for the Sixers when they come back from the break. He had to miss the last two games due to a nagging hamstring injury.

When Harden returns, one can assume that he and Joel Embiid will help the Sixers into contention in the Eastern Conference. They will be battling with teams like the Bucks, the Miami Heat, the Nets, and others.

Everybody knows how dangerous the Harden-Embiid duo can possibly be. Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer gave credit to the Sixers for what they did at the deadline.

“He’s a great player,” said Budenholzer of Harden. “We’ve all watched him for an extended period of time. A lot of years in the NBA. He’s just a very, very unique scorer, an offensive talent. I think the more great players you put on a team, the better chance you have, so certainly good for them.”

The Bucks are the defending champions and they will be the team that everybody will have to go through. The Sixers were able to come away with a win on Thursday, but come playoff time, they will have to prepare and be ready for the challenges to come. That will be on Harden and the rest of the Sixers to figure it all out.
