Buccaneers to play Eagles on Monday night for Wild Card Round

The Bucs and Eagles will get a day all to themselves when they play in the first round of the playoffs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles have their date to the dance.

The Bucs and the Eagles will play each other on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium. That game will be the only game on Monday, so both teams won’t be sharing that airtime.

This will also mean that Tampa Bay and Philadelphia will get an extra day of rest, which could be helpful for both teams. This will allow quarterback Baker Mayfield to get a little healthier, and it will also allow the Eagles to rest up players like Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown.

This will be the second time in two years that the Bucs host a Monday night game. The team played host to the Dallas Cowboys last year at Raymond James and got a drubbing, losing 31-14. Additionally, this is the second time this season both teams will play each other on a Monday, as the Eagles beat the Bucs 25-11 the first time around.
