Buccaneers tabbed as 6.5 point favorites against the Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings will be squaring off against a more-than-worthy adversary in the Tampa Buccaneers on Sunday.

The Vikings have won five of their last six games and all of sudden, the team is back in the playoff hunt.

Minnesota currently has the No. 7 seed, the final postseason spot, if the playoffs were to start today.

The Vikings have another very crucial game this week. This game will be different from the past few weeks in that Minnesota will be playing an opponent with a winning record. It shows in the point spread.

As listed by BetMGM, the Buccaneers are currently 6.5 point favorites over the Vikings for the Week 14 matchup.

Tampa Bay is 7-5 while the Vikings are 6-6. The Buccaneers have looked a lot more consistent over the course of the whole season. That said, the team still has its flaws.

For instance, the Buccaneers offense sputtered out against the Bears and Tampa lost 20-19. The Vikings defense, however, is not the same as the Bears’ defense (although, even that unit has looked bad for Chicago lately).

This game has major playoff implications. If Minnesota wins, its playoff chances become a lot more likely.
