Buccaneers reach deal with first-round pick Tristan Wirfs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with first-round pick Tristan Wirfs, the offensive tackle out of Iowa.

With training camp set to get underway next week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their first-round pick, Tristan Wirfs, will be there from the get go.

Wirfs, the offensive tackle out of Iowa whom the Bucs selected to be the anchor of their O-line, will be under pressure right away to protect Tom Brady, but at least he’s getting paid handsomely to do so.

The Wirfs signing means the Buccaneers now have their entire 2020 draft class under contract, with seventh-round running back Raymond Calais reaching terms on a deal just a few days ago.
