Under the guidance of head coach Nick Saban, the Alabama Crimson Tide has brought home a staggering six national championships, four of which came in seasons where the Tide had already lost a game.
The Crimson Tide currently only has one loss, yet, the doubters have never been louder. The Tide have looked shaky on the road and had a few close calls at home as well, but coming off of a much-needed bye week, I expect to see the Alabama we have all grown accustomed to, as does Bryce Young.
Young spoke with the ESPN College GameDay crew this morning and even he has noticed a mindset change in the Crimson Tide locker room. Young said to the crew, “I think now we’re all more locked in than we have been. There’s an intensity and a focus about this team.”
There is something to be said that Alabama needs a regular season loss to find their final boss form.
Bryce Young to ESPN's College Gameday: "I think now we're all more locked in that we have been. There's an intensity and a focus about the team."
