LSU is hosting Alabama on Saturday night under the lights. It should be one of the best environments college football sees all year, making it a perfect weekend to host big-name recruits.
Two of the biggest stars in the class will be on campus — QB Bryce Underwood and DE Jahkeem Stewart.
Underwood, an LSU commit, is the No. 1 overall player in the 2025 class. Stewart is a Louisiana native who was the top player in the 2026 class before reclassifying to 2025.
Stewart is uncommitted, but he’s the type of “can’t miss” prospect LSU typically doesn’t let get out of state.
Underwood and Stewart will be joined by a swath of blue-chip recruits.
The weekend couldn’t come at a better time for LSU. With one month until national signing day, the Tigers are looking to put the finishing touches on Underwood’s recruitment with Michigan making a push.
As for Stewart, his recruitment is wide open and there’s no clear leader. Oregon and USC remain strong contenders for the Louisiana product, but LSU is never out of it with in-state prospects. We should get a better idea of where LSU stands with Stewart soon enough.
