University of Tennessee golfer Bryce Lewis has been named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week.
Lewis, a redshirt sophomore, earned the weekly award after winning his first individual tournament championship.
Lewis posted a score of 6-under par to win the Collegiate Invitational at the Country Club of Birmingham.
The event featured an 81-man field that included competitors from eight top-25 teams.
Lewis has been a model of consistency as he leads the Volunteers with 14 rounds of par or better. He has also posted a pair of top-five finishes in tournaments during the academic year.
In addition to winning in Birmingham, he finished tied for fourth at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational during the fall semester.
