Two bantamweights will be making the move down to 125 pounds for a matchup in Brazil.
[autotag]Bruno Silva[/autotag] (11-4-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will take on [autotag]Su Mudaerji[/autotag] (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in a flyweight bout at UFC on ESPN+ 28. MMA Junkie confirmed the matchup after an initial report from MMA Fighting.
Silva, who’s a training partner of UFC bantamweight champ Henry Cejudo, was submitted in his promotional debut by Khalid Taha at UFC 243. He will look to score his first promotional win in his home country when he moves back down to flyweight to take on China’s Mudaerji.
Mudaerji will compete outside of China for the first time in his MMA career. After dropping his UFC debut to Louis Smolka, Mudaerji bounced back with a unanimous decision win over Andre Soukhamthath this past August.
