Speed kills in football. The UCLA Bruins know this, so they are extending an offer to a talented dual-sport athlete this week.
Isaiah Mizell, a track star and receiver for Boone High School in Orlando, Florida, received an offer from the Bruins. Despite only being a three-star recruit, Mizell’s blazing-fast 10.4 100-meter dash speed makes him an intriguing prospect for the Bruins. For a Bruins offense that needs dynamism and talent, Mizell is a promising option for UCLA in the future.
By the looks of the teams who have made offers to the 2025 recruit, the Bruins seem to have a very good chance of landing Mizell. Their hardest competitor will be the University of Arizona thus far, which is coming off of a 10-2 season in the Pac-12.
But with the Bruins moving to the BIG 10 and having a newly revamped coaching staff, Mizell could choose the Bruins based on their upside down the line.
