Tom Brady seems to take criticism personally. He’s OK taking coaching — that’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback’s M.O. But criticism from media or an opponent? That’s what fuels him.
Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young didn’t exactly criticize Brady. But Young did threaten: “Tom Brady, I’m coming.”
Yikes… for Young — not Brady.
That seems like exactly the kind of inoffensive quote that will fire up the quarterback for the Buccaneers’ wild card matchup against Washington on Saturday. If there was any doubt, Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians addressed Young’s comments on Tuesday.
“We’ll have our hands full, but it’s one of those games where you better watch what you wish for,” Arians said.
Indeed.
Here’s a look at when Young said it — he was mic’d up for the team’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

The Football Team didn’t stand a chance. This innocuous comment could prove costly — Washington is going to get crushed.
