Browns wreck Baker Mayfield revenge game with 58-yard field goal

Cade York spoiled Baker Mayfield and the Panthers’ plans

The script could not have been more perfect.

Baker Mayfield leading the Carolina Panthers back from a double-digit deficit to down the Cleveland Browns Sunday in his revenge game.

Everything was on point until Cade York ruined things with one swing of his leg.

York, a rookie from LSU, nailed a kick from 58 yards to give the Browns a 26-24 victory over Mayfield and the Panthers.

Jacoby Brissett, in for the suspended Deshaun Watson, led a 6-play, 35-yard drive to set up the winning points with 8 seconds left.

The Panthers trailed 20-7  in the third quarter but rallied to grab a 24-23 lead on Eddy Pineiro’s field goal with 1:13 left.
