On the eve of the 2023 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns worked out some secondary help. Aaron Wilson was the first to report that Cleveland worked out former Cardinals defensive back Jace Whittaker. Whittaker hasn’t played a ton in his first three career seasons seeing his most career action in 2022.
Whittaker has some experience playing in the slot as well as some special teams snaps last season. Though he wouldn’t likely make the roster getting more players with experience in areas the team needs to improve on would be the smart thing to do for training camp. As Aaron Wilson also said no signing is imminent likely meaning nothing will happen before the draft.
