The Cleveland Browns face off with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5 of the NFL season. Both teams enter the week with a 3 – 1 record but the Browns go on the road with a lot of injuries impacting both sides of the ball.
The Chargers, on the other hand, are mostly healthy and playing some very good football early in the year.
Following a long Los Angeles drive that gave the home team the lead at 7 – 3, the Browns took back over after a 30 yard return by Anthony Schwartz.
Tight end David Njoku took a screen pass for 31 yards to run his total to 62 yards on three receptions:

Cleveland continued to drive deep into Los Angeles territory as the first quarter ended. Until the last play of the quarter, Njoku was the only pass-catcher to have a reception. Donovan Peoples-Jones got in on the action with a 12-yard pass reception.
The Browns are driving but trail 7 – 3 at the end of the quarter.
