Browns: Titans’ fear of Myles Garrett forces team to burn a timeout

We’ve never seen that before!

Today’s performance from Myles Garrett was a Defensive Player of the Year award winner type of game for the Cleveland Browns superstar. He was a headache for the Tennessee Titans all day as he absolutely dominated against their offensive line. Garrett finished the game with three and a half sacks and a forced fumble as the team shut down the Titans’ offense.

The Titans were so scared of Garrett that in the second half, they had two tight ends shadow and follow where he lined up. This led the team to have to burn a timeout to avoid a delay of the game as Garrett went back and forth along the line.

That’s the kind of effect on an offense that can lead to turnovers and chances for the defense to feast. It will be really fun to watch this group matchup with a good Ravens offense next week. This defense is good enough to get it done week in and week out if the offense can too it’ll be a fun year in Cleveland.
