The Cleveland Browns have had a whirlwind of mysterious news over the past two weeks. First, the shoulder of quarterback Deshaun Watson has been a mystery to figure out over the last three weeks, but he is not the only one. Tight end David Njoku suffered burns to his face and arms just two days before the Browns were set to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.
And he played through them that Sunday.
Taking to Instagram today, Njoku is finally ready to reveal the nature of his burns after entering Cleveland Browns Stadium with a mask on two weeks ago. Turn away if you are soft-stomached, as they are as severe as head coach Kevin Stefanski described them to be this week.
There is little doubt Njoku will look to play through the burns once again despite his absence from practicing so far this week. Njoku is showing toughness and grit to play through such gruesome burns.
