The Cleveland Browns are no stranger to laughable, irritating moments in their history. Many are etched in stone in the memories of fans long tortured by a team that rarely brought true joy on the field. Instead, Brandon Weeden getting stuck under the United States of America flag during pregame provided just a little laughter before the pain of a losing season.
On the field, the poor performances, bad decisions and constant change over in the coaching ranks and front office created an almost parody of a franchise.
The team, and the fanbase, hope change is here to stay. A 2020 playoff appearance and victory was a good start but injuries and COVID outbreaks derailed the 2021 season.
With the reveal of the 2022 Browns season schedule, including their three preseason games, fans can start looking forward to what lies ahead.
The team’s social media took the opportunity to poke fun at another one of the mistakes made in the past:

Few fans forget the original mistake from 2016, shown at the start of the video above:

At least the team is able to poke fun at its past. Hopefully, the team on the field can take steps toward creating a positive history and the organization can avoid any more GPODAWUND mistakes off the field.
