The Cleveland Browns are back on the board, and they do not go far from home to make the selection. With pick no. 111 in the 2023 NFL draft, the Browns selected Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones.
They have all three of their offensive tackles under control for two more years. However, with the injury concerns of Jack Conklin, the Browns now give themselves a contingency plan.
Jones possesses second round tape. He has excellent hands and foot speed. However, his unwillingness to weigh in at his pro day has raised some concerns about his work ethic and his weight. With second round tape, the Browns take a low-risk flyer in the fourth round.
Browns take the Columbus kid. Huge fan of his tape. Excellent foot speed at his size. However, like Perrion a year ago, there is a reason he fell to the fourth round. Second round tape though! pic.twitter.com/6p86mMeE4L
