The Browns suffered what could be a problematic injury on the second offensive snap in the Sunday night matchup in New York. Starting right guard Chris Hubbard went down in obvious pain with a knee injury.
Hubbard walked off with minor assistance from trainers and quickly headed to the locker room. He wasn’t limping much but was clearly favoring the knee as he headed to the training room.
It’s a critical injury because Hubbard was starting in place of regular starter Wyatt Teller, who is out with an ankle injury.
Rookie Nick Harris stepped in at right guard for Hubbard. Harris is primarily the backup center behind JC Tretter but did play guard in college at Washington.
Injury Update: Chris Hubbard (knee) is questionable to return.
