The status of Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is now up in the air against the Miami Dolphins.
Head coach Kevin Stefanski stated after the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals that the team was dedicated to playing it out with Thompson-Robinson despite a horrid game. Sitting at 3-12 on the season and a top-five 2025 NFL draft pick locked in, what is the harm in seeing what the young quarterback has?
However, speaking to the media today, Stefanski has now stated that Thompson-Robinson is dealing with a calf injury that he is “working through.” The Browns do not practice until Wednesday, so he has time to rest up before they take the practice field. We will have a better understanding of the quarterback situation by then.
It will be interesting, however, to see if the Browns would turn back to Jameis Winston or if they would give Bailey Zappe a start if Thompson-Robinson is unable to play.
