Browns’ playoff probability can hit 98 percent with win vs. Texans

The Browns are already sitting pretty in the AFC playoff picture, but can virtually lock themselves in with a win against the Texans

Now entering the 16th week of the season, the Cleveland Browns currently sit with a firm hold on the fifth seed in the AFC. And with a win against the Houston Texans, the Browns can take an even more substantial strangle hold on a playoff spot.

According to Tej Seth of Sumer Sports, the Browns already sit pretty in the AFC playoff picture. They are already hovering with around a 90 percent chance to make the playoffs but can see that probability rise to nearly 98 percent with their third win in a row.

There are even scenarios in which the Browns can clinch a playoff spot with a win and a ton of help around the league. Most likely, however, the Browns, should they win this week, will have a great chance to punch their ticket to the playoffs on Thursday night against the New York Jets.
