Browns OC candidate Kellen Moore takes job with the Eagles instead

The Browns will have to look elsewhere.

As the Cleveland Browns continue their search for an offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore is now off the table after accepting the job with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Browns brought Moore in for an interview for their vacancy on Friday, including him in a pool of four others as they look for a new offensive coordinator. He accepted the job after the Eagles moved off of Brian Johnson after one season.

They will now turn their attention to Houston Texans’ quarterbacks coach Jerrod Mayo, Seattle Seahawks’ offensive line coach Andy Dickerson, former Buffalo Bills’ offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, or former Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive coordinator Brian Johnson.

Of course, there are still four teams still playing, so coaches from the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, or Kansas City Chiefs could still be on the table. Some coaches that could be considered here are Klint Kubiak, Brian Fleury, Brian Griese, Tanner Engstrand, and Joe Bleymaier.

For the Browns, however, the search goes on as they look for their Alex Van Pelt replacement.
