Browns not wavering despite slow start: ‘Everything is still in front of us’

As the Cleveland Browns face their back against the wall, they still have their eyes on the long-term goal.

Despite a slow start to their 2022 season, and currently sitting 2-4 after three straight losses, the Cleveland Browns are not wavering. With two AFC North foes over the next two weeks, they have a great opportunity to prove it on the field.

Speaking to the media today, linebacker Sione Takitaki still has his eyes on the long-term prize:

“We got everything still in front of us. We got a conference game coming up, we are 1-0 in our division. We got a great team that we are playing this week, you guys know what they bring. They got Lamar and a bunch of great athletes we have to defend, and it is a great opportunity for us to go put it out on tape. We can go out there and have another opportunity to go 1-0 against another divisional opponent. Everything is still in front of us.”

The 2022 season likely comes down to this two-game stretch against both the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. Needing to win both, the Browns can get back into the driver’s seat with a 3-0 record in the division. One game at a time, however, as the Browns prepare for the Ravens.
