As they should be, the 4-3 Cleveland Browns are in the driver’s seat against the 1-7 Arizona Cardinals. After a massive defensive play by defensive tackle Shelby Harris to force a fumble on a sack, the Cleveland Browns marched down a short field. The drive was capped off as quarterback Deshaun Watson connected with tight end David Njoku for a five-yard touchdown through the air. They are now up 20-0 in this game.
It has not been pretty offensively. The Browns have had their flashes but have lacked consistency. In Watson’s return to the field, he has been off-and-on, as he has yet to find a groove. With still 20 minutes left in the game, the Browns are going to hope they can get their franchise quarterback into some sort of a rhythm before traveling to take on the Baltimore Ravens next week.
Playing turnover-free football, however, Watson sits 16-of-26 passing with 150 yards and two touchdowns on the day against the Cardinals.
